Add this delicious mango green smoothie to your weekly line-up for breakfast or post-workout snacks!  It’s made with wholesome ingredients like spinach, mango, nut milk, and chia seeds. It’s naturally sweetened, tangy, and refreshing. Freeze the diced mango and sliced banana the night before to make a quick, thick, and creamy smoothie in the morning. Enjoy it immediately or take it to go!

Time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup diced mango*
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Maple syrup or honey, to taste (optional)
  • Handful of ice

 

Directions:

  1. Combine the spinach and milk in the blender. Process until the spinach is well blended.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.

*Note: If you’re not a fan of mangos or don’t have any on hand, pineapple, peaches, or any other fruit works just as well.
